- For firm tofu: Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat, mash, and crumble tofu directly in the pan.
-
Step 2: Cook the Tofu
Cook the crumbled tofu for 3–4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until most of the moisture evaporates.
-
Step 3: Season and Flavor
Add nutritional yeast, salt, turmeric, and garlic powder. Stir well and cook for 5 minutes, letting the flavors develop.
-
Step 4: Add Creaminess
Pour in non-dairy milk and mix well to create a soft, scrambled texture. Cook for another minute.
-
Step 5: Serve & Enjoy!
Serve immediately with toast, avocado slices, or your favorite breakfast sides.
Note
For a richer texture, use silken tofu and reduce cooking time slightly.
Want it extra eggy? Add ÂĽ tsp black salt (Kala Namak) for an authentic egg-like taste.
Serving suggestion: Enjoy with sautéed veggies, toast, or wrapped in a tortilla for a breakfast burrito!
Storage: Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat on the stovetop with a splash of non-dairy milk.
